Wirral Advice Alliance and its partners offer free, confidential, impartial and independent advice.
Our advice helps people resolve their problems with debt, benefits, employment, housing, discrimination, and many more issues. The service is available to everyone.
Advice is provided either face-to-face or by phone, in some instances our partners may also accommodate home visits.
The purpose of the Wirral Advice Alliance is to empower people by providing them with the information they need to solve their own problems and to signpost them to appropriate advice when necessary.
We have a number of advice services that are available. You will find the relevant service within this section. Mot sections have links to ‘factsheets’ that have been written on various debt and consumer issues. These can be downloaded using Acrobat Reader.
Please tell us about any language or access requirements you have and we will do our best to accommodate them.
What to expect from us
Everyone is offered a short session with a volunteer assessor. The assessor will identify the most appropriate way for us to give you the help that is needed. We’ll keep you informed about the length of time you may need to wait for this.
Depending on your particular needs, we may make an appointment to discuss your problem further – in person, by phone or on email. Alternatively, we may provide you with information to take away, or direct you to a different organisation that is better placed to help you.
If you would like to offer your services as a volunteer then please visit our section on volunteering.
